Engineers from Vorteq and their partners have been working at the cutting edge of sports performance technology bringing some of the fastest apparel solutions to the highest level of sport across multiple Olympic cycles. We’re recruiting for a new R&D engineer to join the team as our projects begin for the LA 2028 Olympics and beyond. In addition to cycling, we’ve begun to develop products for other sports such as athletics, triathlon, swimming and Winter Olympics sports like bobsleigh, skeleton, speed skating and ski-cross.

We are looking for a talented engineer with a passion for sport to join our team, working on a range of projects.

Aerodynamic Development
• Work with other talented engineers to develop various technologies for both internal and external clients
• Prepare, supervise and execute aerodynamic test and development programmes
• Conduct wind tunnel testing and reporting of results
• Assist in the production of physical components to support research and development testing
• Collaborate to create innovative solutions
• Identify and report on new and emerging technologies

Communication and Relationship
• Communicate effectively with other areas of the business
• Liaise with internal and third party specialists when required

Experience
• A technical understanding of CFD and wind tunnel test techniques
• Master degree in STEM/Aerospace Engineering
• Strong aerodynamic background and relevant working experience
• The ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Experience in managing a team (desired, not essential)
